Synopsis

Maomao, a curious and brilliant young woman versed in medicine, was kidnapped and sold to the lowest echelon of the imperial court. Now a servant in the inner palace, she tries to remain anonymous while using her wits to solve medical mysteries that affect the imperial family.

In Season 2, Maomao continues her work as the palace's unofficial detective and medical expert. As she gains more recognition, she finds herself drawn deeper into the political intrigues of the court. With new medical cases to solve and growing relationships with those around her—especially the enigmatic Jinshi—Maomao must navigate the dangerous waters of palace politics while staying true to her apothecary roots.
